Project Ignition is a dynamic organisation aimed at unleashing the power, passion and potential of youth to create a thriving country.
With more than 16 years experience in youth development, we know that unless young people are taught to become impactful in their own life, they will be unable to lead change in their community, let alone the country. We therefore run cutting edge interventions to teach young people emotional, social and financial competencies so that they can effectively navigate their lives and the world. LEADERSHIP FOR LIFE PROGRAMOur Leadership for Life program aims to build social and emotional competence of youth. The programme uses cutting-edge processes to empower youth with tools and skills to be able to navigate their life, develop powerful relationships with themselves and others and to pursue what they truly want in life.

MONEYWYZE CLUBSThe MoneyWyze Programme focuses on developing an entrepreneurial mindset among young people and to teach them how to make, work with and save money. Through the MoneyWyze Clubs young people engage in leadership development activities, financial literacy training, and also have to participate in monthly micro entrepreneurial activities in order to generate as well as save money and set financial goals.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMEThe Internship Programme is a year-long journey focused on increasing self-knowledge, people relationship skills and practical work experience. The programme emphasises the development of tools and skills and assists participants in identifying their dreams and developing a roadmap to pursue their dreams. During the year, young people will receive coaching, attend skills-development sessions, and complete at least 2 placements in selected workplaces.

Live Wires are a group of alumni and mentors who engage in continued education sessions, and apply all the lessons from the leadership programme.

Project Ignition: Entrepreneurs is also aimed at cultivating and nurturing a youth entrepreneurial culture in high schools as well as tertiary institutions.
